Your adventure begins in Casablanca, where we pick you up and head straight to the heart of Morocco — Marrakech. Known for its buzzing souks, colorful streets, and rich history, we’ll take time to explore the highlights of the Red City. Visit Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Koutoubia Mosque, and maybe even grab a fresh orange juice in the medina.
In the late afternoon, we escape the city and head into the peaceful, moon-like landscapes of the Agafay Desert. Here, you’ll check in to your luxury tent at The White Camel Camp, perched on rolling desert hills. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, sip on traditional Moroccan tea, and end the night with dinner under a sky full of stars. It’s the perfect introduction to desert life — calm, beautiful, and just the beginning.
After breakfast in Agafay, we drive through the High Atlas Mountains, winding past scenic passes and Berber villages. Our first big stop is the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its striking mudbrick architecture. This ancient ksar has starred in movies like Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.
Next, we pass through Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital, and continue on to Agdez, where the Draa Valley begins. This quiet desert town offers a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by palm trees and kasbahs. It’s a great place to rest before heading deeper into the Sahara.
Today is packed with adventure! After breakfast, we drive through the Draa Valley, one of the longest valleys in Morocco, full of lush oases and clay villages. In Zagora, you’ll see the famous sign pointing to “Timbuktu – 52 Days by Camel.”
We continue to Tamegroute, a village known for its ancient Quranic library, underground streets, and unique green-glazed pottery. From there, we head to M’Hamid, the last village before the real Sahara begins.
Then the fun begins — we go off-road for about two hours through desert plains, rocky trails, and rolling sand until we reach the majestic Erg Chigaga Dunes. These remote dunes are less touristy and feel truly wild.
At your luxury camp, enjoy a camel ride at sunset, try your hand at sandboarding, and relax with dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional music around the fire. This is the true heart of your Morocco desert tour — raw beauty, peace, and pure magic.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes — a sight that stays with you forever. After breakfast, we drive off-road again across the dry Lake Iriqui, a vast, dreamlike landscape perfect for stunning photos.
We reach the desert town of Foum Zguid, where we rejoin paved roads. From here, we drive to Taznakht, a small town famous for handmade Berber carpets. It’s a great place to see local weaving in action and maybe pick up a meaningful souvenir.
In the late afternoon, we return to Marrakech, where your journey ends — either at your hotel or the airport.
