We will depart Marrakesh at 07:30 AM in the direction of Casablanca – the industrial and economical capital of Morocco. On arrival to Casablanca we will first visit the Cornish on the Atlantic coast and Casablanca’s landmark building – Hassan II mosque
designed by the French architect Michel Pinceau.
Perched dramatically on a rock outcrop overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, its soaring minaret is the world’s tallest and the mosque’s ornate details are the result of over 6000
Moroccan artisans’ work. Continuation to the Royal Palace, from where we will head to the old town to visit the souks and then the Art Deco buildings in the city center.
Departure to Rabat for a lunch in a restaurant after which your guide will escort you on a walk around Oudaia Kasbah which was buit by Moulay Ismail from 1672 to 1727 to protect
the city. Next, we will continue to Hassan Tower which is a gigantic mosque, emblematic of Rabat and famous for its unfinished minaret where storks nest. After we will visit the beautiful
Mausoleum of Mohammed V decorated with stained glass windows, white marble and a wrought-iron entryway.
Prior to returning to Marrakech we will visit the magnificent Necropolis of Chellah with the vestiges of the Roman town Sala. Return to Marrakech late in the afternoon.
