Drive Time: ~6 hours
Your 3 day desert adventure kicks off bright and early with a pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Soon after, we head toward the majestic High Atlas Mountains, winding through the famous Tizi N'Tichka pass—the highest in Morocco! Get ready for some scenic photo stops along the way.
Next, we arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This ancient clay village has starred in epic films like Gladiator, The Mummy, and even Game of Thrones. You'll have time to explore its narrow alleys and snap some stunning photos.
After a lunch break in Ouarzazate—also known as the “Hollywood of Africa”—we’ll pass through the lush Skoura palm grove and the fragrant Valley of Roses before reaching the dramatic landscape of Boumalne Dades, where you’ll spend the night in a charming guesthouse.
Drive Time: ~5 hours
Today is full of natural wonders! We begin by exploring the Dades Valley, with its unique rock formations and red-hued cliffs. Don’t forget to keep your camera ready for those panoramic views.
Then, it’s off to the towering Todra Gorges, where you can take a walk along the riverbed and marvel at the 300-meter-high canyon walls. It’s the perfect place to stretch your legs and feel the raw beauty of southern Morocco.
Afterward, we journey through the charming Berber towns of Tinjdad and Touroug, and stop for lunch along the way. In the afternoon, we finally arrive at the highlight of the tour—the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.
Here, your desert dream begins. You’ll hop on a camel and trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets over the horizon, we reach your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, live Berber music around the campfire, and a sky full of stars. It’s a night you’ll never forget!

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise—a moment that stays with you forever. After breakfast, you can choose to ride the camel back or take a 4x4 vehicle to meet your driver.
From there, we pass through Rissani, a bustling market town full of colors and culture, then continue along the long and lush Draa Valley, dotted with ancient kasbahs and date palms.
