FROM NORTH TO SOUTH 10 DAYS / 9 NIGHTS :
Day 1 : Casablanca

Arrival to Casablanca airport and transfer to your hotel. Depending on the arrival time, city tour or free time. Dinner and overnight stay in a modern hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2 : Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast we will visit the stunning Hassan II mosque (in case of late arrival on Day 1), which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world – it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. We then head straight to Rabat to enjoy the afternoon atmosphere of Morocco’s capital city. After lunch city tour of Rabat including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Chellah. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel according to your choice.

Day 3 : Rabat – Tangier

We will spend the morning in Morocco’s capital city Rabat. Afterwards we will head on to the north with a lunchbreak in the coastal town of Asilah which is a popular sea side resort and home to many artisits. Arrival to Tanger in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in a modern hotel with a view.

Day 4 : Tangier

After breakfast the whole day will be dedicated to visiting Tangier. First, you visit the new city, a quarter of its population consists of foreigners (Spanish, American and Italian). Then you will visit the Atlantic coast with Cape Spartel, which meets the Mediterranean and Atlantic and the caves of Hercules. Back to the old city for a walking tour to visit the palace of Dar el Mekhzen. Dinner and overnight in Tangier.

Day 5 : Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

After breakfast you will leave Tangier towards the Rif mountains and you arrive at the city of Tetouan after about an hour’s drive. Tétouan’s Medina has one of the most authentic light houses richly decorated with wrought-iron gates as well as beautiful places, which is a good example of medieval Andalusian architecture. After the visit and lunch, continuation to Chefchaouen, the center of the Rif mountains .The city was conquered in 1920 by the Spaniards and was a holy city forbidden to non Muslims. Dinner and overnight in a cosy riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 6 : Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

After lunch we will move on to the third of our Imperial cities, Meknes, to visit the Royal Stables – an amazing site, as this massive stable yard was constructed to comfortably house no less that twelve thousand of the royal horses. On the way we will stop to visit Volubilis– the most important Roman site in the country. We will arrive to Fes late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay in a luxurious riad in Fes.

Day 7 : Fes

After breakfast we head to discover the bustling, imperial and ancient city of Fes, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina is a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights. To navigate, follow one of the five, themed tourist circuits. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter mosques in Morocco. Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant in the old town. After exploring dye-pits, tanneries and restaurants, we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 : Fes – Merzouga

This morning we journey over the Middle Atlas to reach the desert of Merzouga in the afternoon. Some distance past Midelt, you will begin to descend toward Errachidia, crossing the Ziz gorge. Than continue to Merzouga via Erfoud and Rissani, you’ll arrive to Merzouga afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.

Day 9 : Merzouga – Mhamid – Erg chebbi desert

Today we enjoy a stunning drive rewarded by a fantastic Moroccan lunch and an afternoon relaxing. It is now time to head towards the desert of Mhamid, where we transfer to camels for a trek into the desert for a night at the desert camp. We enjoy local food, music and an amazing night out under the Saharan stars.

Day 10 : Erg Chebbi – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate
