The imperial cities tour: 8 days / 7 nights ( Explore the culture of Morocco.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca .
You will be greeted upon your arrival at Mohammad V airport in Casablanca and will be escorted to your hotel. Our tour guide will deliver your vouchers and will provide brief review of your tour.
Overnight: Casablanca

Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat.

After breakfast, we will have a half-day sightseeing tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. We will visit Hassan II Mosque (inside & outside) – the largest mosque outside Mecca, the Mohammad V square, Royal Palace and Habous district and the residential area of Anfa. We will have our (optional) lunch in one of the fish restaurants located at seafront. After lunch we will follow the Barbary Coast to the imperial city of Rabat; the administrative capital city of the Kingdom. We will see Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the fortified Oudaya Kasbah, the marvelous Mohamed V mausoleum, Hassan Tower and the Monetary museum. We will check-in to our hotel in Rabat for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Rabat

Day 3: Rabat – Meknes –  Fez.
Morning depart to the second imperial city, Meknes, which was the capital city under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). This city is famous for its 40 km long city walls that preserve the most beautiful gate of Morocco, Bab Al Mansour. We will also visit the Royal Stables which housed up to 12,000 horses of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Later we will continue to Fes via the holy city of Moulay Idriss where the founder of the Islam in Morocco is buried; this town is famous for its green rooftops and offers one of the most picturesque views of Moroccan town life. On our way to Fez, we will also visit the roman city of Volubilis. Volubilis features the best preserved excavations in this part of northern Africa dating from the Roman Empire. In 1997 the site was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Later we will arrive to Fez and check-in to our hotel. Overnight: Fez

Day 4: Fez  (full day to explore the city)
After breakfast, we will begin with a guided  your full day sightseeing tour of Fez, the most ancient city of the Imperials, founded by Idris I (789) and his son Moulay Idris II (810). We will visit the medieval Medina with its Medersas (religious Islamic universities) Attarine and Bou Anania, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. After our (optional) local lunch we will continue to Fez Jdid (new Fez), and return to our hotel. Overnight

Day 5: Fez –  Beni Mellal –  Marrakech.
After breakfast, we will depart to Marrakech passing by the Berber village of Immouzer du Kandar and Ifrane and arrive to Beni Mellal. It sits in the foot of Mount Tassemit and is one of the agricultural centers of Morocco. We will arrive to Marrakech late afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Marrakech-  (Sightseeing tour)
After breakfast, we will begin our full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, the second largest city in Morocco also known as the pearl of south. Today we will visit the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, Koutoubia. Minaret and Majorelle Gardens named after the famous French painter who constructed here his art deco villa and started the botanical gardens. In 1980 it became the residence of Yves Saint Laurent. Afternoon we will visit the Djemaa El Fna square, which by day is a market place but at night is a place of non-stop entertainment; this area is great for bargain hunt in the souks and handicraft shops of Marrakech. Moroccan tea is served at the “Maison de la photographie” a riad in the old town where clients can admire an amazing photo collection of “Landscapes and Faces of Morocco”, made between 1870 and 1950 overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Marrakech – Casablanca.
We have morning at leisure to absorb this mystical city; after lunch we will depart to Casablanca. Upon arrival we will check-in to our hotel. Overnight: Casablanca

Day 8: Casablanca – Airport
Transfer to Casablanca airport for flight back home depend of the time of your flight

Camel tours

Tour 1B: Trekking with camel and four-wheel-drive, 2 days/1 night.

Day 1: Departure in M’hamid on the back of the camel, we cross a 10km distance of small dunes (well two hours ride), lunch under an unloading tamarisk tree. At 15 o’clock you are picks up there by the 4×4 and you will travel through a beautiful desert landscape .break en the oasis sacrée with thé à la menthe. The nomads come with their herds for soaking. After further 15 km we reach the nomads comes with their herds for largest group of dunes of the region reaches a height of 300 m on a length 40 km.We spend the night directly in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment.

Day 2: After nice breakfast on the camp of Erg Chegaga, you will be back with 4WD to the village of M’hamid and arrival is around 10:00.

Tour 2 B – Camel and 4×4, 2 nights

Day 1: We cross the Oued Draa, ride on the back of the Camel over 10 km (about 3 hours) through wonderful desert landscape, with some luck we can see nomads with their animals. We will have lunch at a beautiful place in the midst of the desert with dunes and large tamarisk trees. In the afternoon we continue to the Oued Naam, a meeting place of the nomads with a well. We spend the night under the starlit sky, dinner.

Day 2: at 10 o’clock you are picked up there by the 4×4 and you will travel through a beautiful desert landscape to oasis sacrée (Holy Oasis) for lunch break. The Oasis Sacrée consists of a small group of palm trees around a source in the midst of the desert, which running water the whole year. The nomad comes with their herds for Soaking. At 16 o’clock 20 departure. After further 15 km we ranch the dunes of Chégaga .this largest group of dunes of the region reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km.We spend the night directly in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment.

Day 3: after breakfast nice on the camp of Erg Chegaga, you will return back on 4WD to the village of Mhamid; we arrive around 10:00.

Minimum number of participants is 2 persons.

Included on the price: 1 camel per person, travel in the jeep, overnight accommodation under the stars and in tents, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

Tour 3 B: Trekking with camel 5 days / 4 nights.

Day 1: Departure at 8.00 direction Erg Chegaga. After a 3-hour ride lunch break at Race Nkhal, at 15.00 departure for Oued Naam, 2-hour ride, bivouac near nice dunes, dinner.

Day 2: Departure from Oued Naam at 8:00, we walk over a large dry lake, lunch break at Loitide, 15.00 ride to a wonderful dune area, bivouac, dinner.

Day 3: After breakfast we ride over a large stone desert (hammada) before we finally reach the Oasis Sacrée, in order to take lunch there under palm trees. In the afternoon we continue to the sand sea, the dunes of Chegaga. This largest group of dunes in the area reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km. We spend the night there in nomad tents. Dinner with entertainment.

Day 4: After breakfast return to Mhamid on camel’s back, 3-hour ride, lunch break below a large Acacia tree, in the afternoon 2-hour ride and bivouac at the duines of Bougran.

Day 5: Early morning departure back to Mhamid, lunch break at Lbour, arriving at Mhamid around 18.30.

Tour 4B: Trekking with camel and four-wheel-drive, 4 days/3 night.

1st day 30/12/2011: Marrakech –Tagounite : Early morning departure with 4×4 from the hotel in Marrakech. We drive over the High Atlas – Tizi-n-Tichka with a visit of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous Kasbah. Lunch in Kasbah Tamnougalte. The trip goes through the valley of the Draa River with millions of palm trees and old Kasbahs, partly off road. After Zagora you will have a stop at Tamgroute to visit the famous coran library and underground Kasbah, Later on, we drive towards the town of Tagounite where you will spend the night. Dinner and Overnight in Camping les palmeraies.

2nd day 31/12/2011 : Tagounite –Erg Chegaga: After brekfast, half day is to be enjoyed around the town of Tagounite. Lunch is to be served in the Auberge. Then, the 4×4 will pick you up to drive via deserted mountains to reach the gate of desert (Mhamid). After relaxation and a tasty cup of Sahara tea, you will travel through a beautiful desert landscape to Sacred Oasis (holy oasis). The Oasis Sacrée consists of a small group of palm trees around a source in the midst of the desert, which running water the whole year. The Nomads comes with their herds for soaking. At 16 o’clock. After further 15 km we reach the dunes of Chegaga. This largest group of dunes of the region reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km. We spend the night directly in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment of the New Year party.

3rd day 01/01/2012 : Erg Chegaga –Marrakech: After breakfast departure in 4×4 on the old Paris – Dakar road to Foum Zguid, crossing Lac Iriqui, lunch break in Taznakht. We arrive to Marrakech around 18h00.

Feast in the Desert includes:

Day3: Erg lihoudi – Mhamid – Sacred Oasis – Erg Chegaga : After enjoying the sunrise and nice breakfast in the camp, departure on the back of Camels towards Mhamid where you will lunch and have a shower. Around 03 p.m you are picked up in 4×4 to enjoy beautiful desert landscape crossing a Sacred Oasis. After a nice picturesque sunset on the sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. Dinner and night in the camp either under the nomad tent or under the gleaming stars.

Day4: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Ouarzazate : In the morning breakfast is served to you, then departure in 4×4 via the old Paris-Dakar road to Foum Zguid. Lunch is to be enjoyed in the village Taznakht. Then, we continue our desert safari towards the Ait benhadou kasbah. It is one of the best preserved and most spectacular Kasbah in Morocco. A famous site for Hollywood films. Arrival to Ouarzazate around 04 p.m or continue twoards Marrakech for those who like to end their trip in the Red city (Marrakech) where we arrive arround 06 :30 p.m

Day 2: Dades Valley » Todra Gorge >>Merzouga : Transfer from Dades Gorge to Merzouga via the Todra Gorge (the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco). Arrive in the desert where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Camel trek as the sun set across a desert landscape, for approximately 2 hrs to reach your desert camp and home for the night: a traditional nomad tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. A simple meal of tagine is freshly prepared for you by your guide. Dinner ,overnight in a Berber tent

Day 3: Erg Chebbi >>Merzouga » Midelt >>Fes : Rise early to greet the new day and, after mint tea and breakfast, return across the desert on your camels to shower and depart. Transfer direct from Merzouga to Fes along the Ziz Valley Gorge and via Azrou and the cedar forests.

Marrakech fez tour II: 4Day/3Nights

Day 1: Marrakech > AitBenHaddou>Ouarzazate : Pick up in the morning from your hotel/riad in Marrakech and depart towards Ouarzazate via the Tickha Pass (2260m) the highest road pass in Morocco. Continue your journey off road to the palm tree oasis of Finnt. After visit of Finnt follow the road of Thousand Kasbah, passing the Skoura oasis onto Rose Valley. Famous for the production of Moroccan roses, a wide array of rose products available. Day 4: Erg Chebbi > Merzouga > Midelt > Fes : Rise early to greet you new day, beautiful sun rise over the sand dunes. After breakfast in the desert return to Merzouga to shower and depart. Travel onto Efroud where you will see the sudden change in the scenery. The desert, dry land will change into the green valley of Ziz, date palms and green gorges. Then continue onto the Middle Atlas Mountains passing Ifrane and Azrou. A forested cedar hillsides where colony of monkeys will keep you amused .

Marrakech fez tour III: 5 days / 4 nights:

1st day: Marrakech Ouarzazate. : After breakfast departure towards Ouarzazate via Tichka Pass (2260m high) passing the amazing High Atlas and its magnificent landscapes and sceneries. 3rd day: Erg Chegaga – Mhamid – Zagora – Dades Gorges : After breakfast, departure towards Dades gorges crossing the gate of the desert (Mhamid Town); afterwards you will visit Tamgroute with its Koran library and Old underground Kasbah; Stop for lunch in Zagora. Cross the Draa valley. Afterwards, you will across the colorful Berber villages before we achieve Dades gorges. Dinner and night in the hotel.

4th day: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga : Transfer from Dades Gorge to Merzouga via the Todra Gorge (the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco). Marrakech fez tour IV:5 Days / 4 nights

Day 1 Marrakech – AitBenHaddou – Ouarzazate : Pick up from your hotel/riad at 9:00am and travel towards the High Atlas Mountains. Day 2 Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Rose Valley – Dades Gorge. : In the morning visit the city of Ouarzazate, its famous Kasbah Taourirt, residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Then take a route of the Thousand Kasbahs towards the Skoura Oasis. Take a lovely off road in the oasis passing homes of the local people. Visit the Kasbah Amridil featured in many Moroccan brochures. Your Morocco Tour takes to then to the Rose Valley (Kella Mgouna) known for production of Moroccan roses and its variety of beauty products. Your journey continues passing the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills, a bizare rock creation resembling monkey feet. End your day at Dades Gorge, deep gorge of red and mauve rock. Day 3 Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi : Depart Dades Gorge to visit another deep oasis in Morocco the Todra Gorge. It walls are 300 m tall and at their most narrow part, they are mere 20 meters apart. Spend some time appreciating this natural wonder before resuming your trip towards the Sahara Desert. Approaching Merzouga you will see the first sand dunes of the desert. There your camels will be waiting for your to carry you across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Travel on the back of your camels, or walk during a beautiful sunset. Spend the night in the Nomad tent in the camp in the desert.

Day 4 Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Rissani – Erfourd : Rise early in the morning to greet the new day and watch the sunrise eliminating the desert, after mint tea and breakfast, return to Merzouga on the saddle of your camels to shower and depart. Today enjoy the desert scenery. Visit the seasonal lake of Tamezquidate. It has water generally from November to April, May. It is very beautiful and unique to see the contrast between the water and the sand dunes of Sahara Desert. It is home to several bird species. Visit the ancient city of Rissani, where many old Arab dynasties came from. We see man wearing the indigo blue robes distinctive of Saharan people. We enjoy the visit to the old Kasbah, where people still live today and possible visit to the market. Then your Morocco adventure continues towards Erfroud, known for its date palm trees. You see fences guarding the palms agains the desert. Erfourd host a yearly date palm festival. Overnight in Erfourd

Day 5 Erfroud – Midelt – Azrou – Fes : This morning depart Erfourd and travel along the scenic Ziz Valley passing many palm groves and green valleys. You will encounter many local Nomads herding their animals, living in the tents in the fields. View the city of Azrou, famous for woodwork and gorgeous red carpets. Near Azrou visit the cedar forests where colonies of Barbary Apes will keep you amused. Then your journey will take you to the city of Ifrane, looking as the Swiss village and popular ski resort. Late afternoon arrival to Fes, drop off at your riad.

Tour Rak I: Marrakech- Ait Benhaddou – Zagora –M’hamid- Erg Chegaga – Taznakht, 3 days and 2 nights

1st day: Marrakech – M’hamid : Early morning departure with 4×4 from the hotel in Marrakech. We drive over the High Atlas – Tizi-n-Tichka with a visit of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah. Lunch in Kasbah Tamnougalte. The trip goes through the valley of the Draa River with millions of palm trees and old Kasbahs, partly off road. After Zagora you will have a stop at Tamgroute to visit thefamous coran library and underground Kasbah, night will be eithr in hotel or in bivouac near Mhamid.

2nd day: M’hamid – Erg Chegaga: In the morning departure on the back of the camels into the Sahara for about 2 hours riding. At 10 o’clock you are picked up there from the 4×4 and you will travel through a beautiful desert landscape to Sacred Oasis (holy oasis) for lunch break. The Oasis Sacrée consists of a small group of palm trees around a source in the midst of the desert, which running water the whole year. The Nomads comes with their herds for soaking. At 16 o’clock departure. After further 15 km we reach the dunes of Chegaga. This largest group of dunes of the region reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km. We spend the night directly in nomad tents at the dunes. Dinner with entertainment.

3rd day: Erg Chegaga –Marrakech: After breakfast departure in 4×4 on the old Paris – Dakar road to Foum Zguid, crossing Lac Iriqui, lunch break in Taznakht. We arrive to Marrakech around 18h00.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge : Pick up from your Hotel in Marrakech and transfer to the verdant oasis of Dades Gorge. The first interesting haven that we cross is the high Atlas Mounrains at the summit of 2260 m (Tizi N’tichka). Along that way you will enjoy the berber life in old adobe villages and nice sceneries.. We head to Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Africa” thanks to international movies tournament, to visit Taourirt Kasbah before we continue to Skoura palm grove and the town of roses, Kelaa Mgouna, we will across the colorful Berber villages before we achieve Dades gorges. Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud -Toudra gorges – Dades valley – Dades gorges : After breakfast in your hotel in dades gorges, we follow our way to Tinghir through Dades valley and head to Todra gorges for lunch in a restaurant situated in the heart of the canyons with 300 m high, there will be a possibility to hike for an hour inside the valley for those who are interested in treks. In the afternoon, we leave to Erfoud via Tinjedad with its old underground irrigation system, we will discover the fossils and places where they are extracted before we achieve the dunes of Merzouga by Erg Chebbi. After a rest of 15 minutes, you ride camels directly to the oasis where you will enjoy the night with dinner and entertainement under the nomd tent or under

Day 3 : Dades gorges : Early morning in order to see the sunrise, return by camels to the hotel after breakfast departure to Rissani and Erfoud in order to visit the treatment plant marble fossilized before continuing to touroug and tinjdad palm groves. We have lunch in the way. We cross the high Atlas mountains with nice stops. We arrive to Marrakech around 18 :30.

You cross via the road of Tizni n Tazazart, a spectacular piste winding through dramatic rock formations and gorges with superb views. Then continue your trip via the Draa valley lined by palm grove and many Berber Sub-Saharan villages. You reach Zagora for dinner and night in a bivouac under nomad tent .

Day 3: Zagora – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech: Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and the breakfast meal, ride your camel back to Zagora to reach your vehicule, then drive through the Draa valley and Agdez to discover the hidden treasures of the Southern region and continue to Ouarzazate where you visit the Taourirt Kasbah (lunch on the spot). Afternoon drive back to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains. We reach the Red city around 06 :00 p .m.

Tour Rak IV: Marrakech- Ait Benhaddou – Zagora –M’hamid- Erg Chegaga – Taznakht, 4 days and 3 nights

We will have lunch at a beautiful place in the midst of the desert with dunes and large Tamarisk trees. In the afternoon we continue to the Oued Naam, a meeting place of the Nomades with a well. Night under the starlit sky, dinner.

1st day: Valley of the roses : After breakfast departure for the palm gardens of Skoura in the Dades valley, one of the most beautiful areas of Morocco, off road through the rose valley, lunch break. In the afternoon continue to Todra Gorges. One hour of walking through spectacular landscape. Accommodation and dinner in dades valleys at nice hotel.

2nd day: BLUE SKIES, RED LAND, GREEN PALM TREES : After breakfast we take the off road via Djebel Saghro and walk for 2 hours in this terrific mountains before lunch. Later we continue through the valley of the Draa River with millions of palm trees and old Kasbahs to Zagora.Later, We will visit the coran library and the underground kasbah in Tamgroute. Night with dinner in tagounite in nice auberge .

3rd day: SAHARA FEELING : In the morning departure on the 4X4 to reach your camels then ridding about in to Sahara , 3 hours ride lunch break, in the afternoon we continue to the bivouac near nice sand dunes. Dinner and night in nomad tent.

4th day: NOMAD LIVING : In the morning departure on the back of the camels into the Sahara. Lunch in the middle of nowhere. At 3 p.m. we go to the extensive dunes of Chegaga, there we will stay in a permanent bivouac with showers and toilets. Dinner with entertainment.

5th day: Sun rising breakfast : After breakfast departure in 4×4 on the old Paris – Dakar road to Foum Zguid, crossing Lac Iriqui, lunch break in Taznakht. Visit of Ait Benhaddou. Night and dinner in the beautiful hotel in Ait benhaddou kasbah .

6th day : After a nice breakfast of a sun shinning terrace, we make our way back to Marrakech. We drive along High Atlas villages. We arrive to Marrakech around 14:00.

Tour Rak VI: Trekking with Camel and Four-wheel-drive, departure from Marrakech, Zagora, Tamgroute and 1 week through the Sahara

Day 1 : Early morning departure with 4×4 from the hotel in Marrakech. We drive over the High Atlas – Tizi-n-Tichka with a visit of Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah. Day 2 : Departure at 8.00 direction Erg Chegaga. After a 3-hour ride lunch break at Race Nkhal, at 15.00 departure for Oued Naam, 2-hour ride, bivouac near nice dunes, dinner.

Day 3 : Departure from Oued Naam at 8:00, we walk over a large dry lake, lunch break at Loitide, 15.00 ride to a wonderful dune area, bivouac, dinner.

Day 4 : After breakfast we ride over a large stone desert (hammada) before we finally reach the Oasis Sacrée, in order to take lunch there under palm trees. In the afternoon we continue to the sand sea, the dunes of Chegaga. This largest group of dunes in the area reaches a height of 300 m on a length of 40 km. We spend the night there in nomad tents. Dinner with entertainment.

Day 5 : After breakfast return to Mhamid on camel’s back, 3-hour ride, lunch break below a large Acacia tree, in the afternoon 2-hour ride and bivouac at the duines of Bougran.

Day 6 : Early morning departure back to Mhamid, lunch break at Lbour, arriving at Mhamid around 18.30. Night in simple guest house in Mhamid .

Day 7 : After a nice breakfast, we take via nice landscapes to enjoy the south area, passing by Zagora and Draa valleys, we stop for lunch in a nice Kasbah in Agdez. Later we continue via the hollywood of Morocco Ouarzazate. We drive along the high Atlas Mountains with some Stops to enjoy the sceneries of the Berber villages and nice valleys along the way. We reach Marrakech around 18:30.
