(Approx. 6 hours drive)
After breakfast, we’ll leave the buzz of Marrakech behind and head straight into the dramatic beauty of the High Atlas Mountains. Winding through Berber villages and rugged landscapes, the Tizi n’Tichka pass offers plenty of photo stops.
Next, we’ll explore the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou — a mud-brick fortress that’s starred in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After soaking up the views, we’ll continue through Ouarzazate (a.k.a. the "Hollywood of Africa") and the lush Skoura oasis.
Before sunset, we’ll drive through the fragrant Valley of Roses and finally reach Boumalne Dades, where the surreal rock formations of Dades Gorge await.
Tip: Don’t forget to look up — the stars here are unreal!
(Approx. 4 hours drive)
Today, our adventure leads us through the oasis town of Tinghir. You’ll enjoy a gentle walk through the Todgha Gorge, where 300-meter cliffs frame your path and echo with birdsong. It’s the perfect place to stretch your legs and connect with nature.
After that, we head toward the town of Rissani — the gateway to the Sahara and home to a bustling local market filled with spices, dates, and tradition.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga. Here, the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rise like waves from the desert floor. Take a breath — the Sahara is even more magical in person!
(Camel trek: 1 hour)
Wake up to the quiet of the desert, then enjoy a visit to Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa music and warm Berber hospitality. You’ll sip tea, meet locals, and feel the rhythm of nomadic life.
In the afternoon, get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime ride. Your camel trek begins, leading you over glowing dunes just in time to catch the sunset melting into the horizon. It’s a surreal moment you’ll never forget.
Afterward, you’ll arrive at your desert camp, where dinner is served under the stars. With local drumming, warm firelight, and the stillness of the desert around you, this night will stay with you forever.
(Approx. 7 hours drive)
If you’re an early riser, you’ll be rewarded with a peaceful sunrise over the dunes — golden light spilling across the sand.
After breakfast, we begin our journey north. The drive takes us through the vast and fertile Ziz Valley, dotted with palm trees and small villages. After a short stop in Midelt for lunch, we’ll continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful Barbary macaques.
By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital — filled with narrow alleyways, medieval wonders, and endless charm.
