At Sahara Welcome, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. However, because we invest time and resources into preparing each tour in advance—especially in remote desert regions—we have a clear cancellation policy to protect both our guests and our operations.

Please review the following policy carefully before booking your tour.

🔄 Cancellation Policy Breakdown:

📍 21 Days or More Before Tour Start Date

  • ✅ Full refund, minus a 5% processing fee (to cover payment platform charges and admin costs).
  • This is the most flexible window—ideal if you’re still confirming your travel plans.

📍 15 to 20 Days Before Tour Start Date

  • 🔁 50% refund of the total tour cost.
  • The remaining 50% is retained to cover pre-paid logistics such as accommodations, transportation, and guides.

📍 14 Days or Less Before Tour Start Date

  • ❌ No refund will be issued.
  • By this time, most bookings (accommodations, transport, camp setup, etc.) are finalized and non-refundable on our end.

📅 Modifying a Booking

If you’d like to reschedule your tour, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, depending on availability and how close the change is to your original tour date:

  • 21+ days before tour: No rescheduling fee.
  • 15–20 days: Rescheduling may incur a 25% fee.
  • Less than 14 days: Rescheduling is not guaranteed and may be treated as a cancellation.

⚠️ Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of cancellations caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political unrest
  • Government-imposed travel restrictions
  • Airline cancellations outside your control

We will review each case individually and offer:

  • Flexible rescheduling
  • Partial refund or credit toward a future trip

Please note that proof (e.g., flight cancellation notice) may be required.

📬 How to Cancel

All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email.

Include your full name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation. We will confirm your cancellation and applicable refund (if any) within 48 hours.

🧾 Additional Information

  • Refunds (if eligible) are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
  • Refunds are always subject to a 5% processing fee, regardless of timing.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage, especially for desert and remote region tours.
