IMPERIAL CITIES, ATLANTIC COAST AND THE SOUTH OF MOROCCO :
Day 1 : Fes

Arrival to the airport of Fes and welcome by your guide. Transfer to your riad in the medina. Free time, dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 2 : Fes

After breakfast we head to discover the bustling, imperial and ancient city of Fes, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. Its medina is a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights. To navigate, follow one of the five, themed tourist circuits. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit, but be aware that only Muslims can enter mosques in Morocco. Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant in the old town. After exploring dye-pits, tanneries and restaurants, we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight in Fes.

Day 3 : Fes – Ifrane –Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud

Departure from Fes early in the morning through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Ifrane to admire the second cleanest city in the world aka “The Moroccan Swiss resort” and head on to Azrou for lunch and visit the pine forest where you can see monkeys if you are lucky. Arrival to Midelt and continuation to Erfoud through stunning landscapes of mountains and nomadic villages. We will get to Erfoud late in the afternoon, have dinner and overnight in a comfortable hotel.

Day 4 : Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast city tour of Erfoud including the fossil factory and on to discover the souk of Rissani which used to be one of the ancient capitals of Morocco. Afterwards we will visit the museum of Fida and on Merzouga and the village of Khmlia – home of the ancient descendants of black slaves. On arrival to Merzouga camel ride to the desert camp in the dunes of Erg Chebbi where dinner and campfire will be awaiting you. Overnight in a luxury camp in Merzouga.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra gorges – Dades Gorges – Boumalene Dades

After breakfast we will head to discover the gorges of Todra with a stop for lunch in a restaurant. After lunch we will continue to the gorges of Dades for a short visit before we arrive to Boumalene Dades for dinner and overnight stay in a modern hotel.

Day 6 : Boumalene Dades – Kelaat M’gouna – Ouarzazate

After breakfast departure to Ouarzazate, the gates of the desert, passing through Kelaat M’gouna where the famous rose festival is held annually. After lunch we will continue to Ouarzazate to arrive to our hotel in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : Ouarzazate – Taliouine – Taroudant

After breakfast we will have a city tour before heading to Taroudant known as “Little Marrakech” with a lunchbreak in Talouine. On arrival to Taroudant, check in your hotel, free time, dinner and overnight in a guesthouse in Taroudant.

Day 8 : Taroudant – Agadir

After breakfast we will have a city tour before heading to the Atlanic coast with a lunchbreak in Arrival to Agadir in the afternoon. Check in your hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Agadir.

Day 9 : Agadir – Essaouira

After breakfast city tour of Agadir and departure to Essaouira. Arrival and check in your riad in the medina. City tour of Essaouira including the ancient port, the Squala and the old town. Dinner and overnight stay in Essaouira.

Day 10 – 11 : Essaouira

Breakfast and free time to enjoy the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira. Lunch on a panoramic terrace with a view on the medina. Dinner and overnight in Essaouira.

Day 12 : Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast departure to Marrakech – the last Imperial city. Marrakech is set against the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Its great pride and landmark is the Koutoubia Tower, sister to the Tower of Hassan in Rabat and the Giralda Tower in Seville. Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant. No visit to the city is complete without a visit to the city’s UNESCO-listed medina and Djemâa-el-Fna, an extraordinary gathering and market place. After the visit we will head for dinner and overnight in a luxurious riad in the medina.

Day 13 : Marrakech

After breakfast continuation of the city tour of Marrakech including the Medersa Ben Youssef coranic school and Bahia palace. Lunch will be served in a restaurant with a panoramic view on the medina. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 14 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat

After breakfast departure to Casablanca for a city tour including the stunning Hassan II mosque which has the tallest minaret and the third largest mosque in the world – it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time. We then head straight to Rabat to enjoy the afternoon atmosphere of Morocco’s capital city. After lunch city tour of Rabat including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Chllah. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or hotel in Rabat.

Day 15 : Rabat – Fes

We will spend the morning in Morocco’s capital city Rabat to visit Oudaia Kasbah and the Royal palace. After lunch we will move on to the third of our Imperial cities, Meknes, to have a city tour including the stables of Moulay Driss. Transfer to Fes in the afternoon. End of services.
