IMPERIAL CITIES

Day 1 : Tangier – Asilah

Arrival and welcome by your guide in the airport, city tour of TangIer and transfer to Asilah on the Atlantic coast. Check in your riad, dinner and overnight stay in Asilah.

Day 2 : Asilah – Rabat – Casablanca

After breakfast city tour of Asilah and on to Rabat, the capital of the kingdom. Lunch in a restaurant followed by a city tour inclusding the Oudaya kasbah, Chellah and Hassan tower. Departure to Casablanca in the afternoon, check in your hotel, dinner and overnight stay in Casablanca.

Day 3 : Cassablanca – Fes

After breakfast city tour of Casablanca including the Hassan II mosque and departure to the imperial city og Fes. On arrival check in your riad and lunch. In the afternoon you will have a guided walking tour in the medina. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4 : Fes

After breakfast we will head to explore the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. It is separated into three parts, Fès el Bali (the old town), Fès –Jdid(Jewish district) and the Ville Nouvelle (the French-created, newest section of Fes. The old town is a heady mix of aromas, sounds and sights. There are plenty of mosques and palaces to visit and lunch will be served in a traditional Moroccan restaurant. After exploring dye-pits, tanneries and restaurants, we return to the riad for an overnight in Fes.

Day 5 : Fes – Larache- Asilah – Tangier

After breakfast departure to the South of Morocco through the Middle Atlas mountains with stops in Ifrane and Midelt. Freshwater trout will be served for lunch in Midelt. This is a beautiful alpine area. Surrounded by huge pine trees and a tranquil mountain setting, this is a great spot to cool down and relax after the hustle and bustle of Fes. Some distance past Midelt, you will begin to descend toward Errachidia, crossing the Ziz gorge. Than continue to Merzouga via Erfoud and Rissani, you’ll arrive to Merzouga afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp.
